The rain sensor is used in combination with electronic timers and controllers and allows you to automatically turn off the water supply in case of precipitation. The sensor responds to precipitation and turns off the water supply to watering.
In the upper part of the case there are holes for capturing rain drops, which moisten special discs that swell from moisture and press the button with a rod. The button opens the chain and the timer does not turn on the irrigation program.
Having dried up, the discs are compressed, the button is released and the irrigation timer continues to perform its functions.
The sensor is connected to the watering timer with a cable 7 meters long. At the end of the cable there is a plug Jack. The sensor is suitable for irrigation timers that have an appropriate nest. Timer and controllers without such a nest, it is possible to connect by removing the plug and connect the wires directly to the contacts to connect the sensor.
